VBR Turbine Partners can offer different levels of operation and maintenance training courses for all levels of gas turbine operation & maintenance. VBR has developed these courses specifically designed to optimize day-to-day LM gas turbine operation and maintenance. Attendance on one or more of our courses results in reducing the number of unscheduled stops caused by human error.
The knowledge and skills gained by your staff as a result of this training, will improve machine reliability and availability. It will also contribute to further reducing gas turbine operation & maintenance costs providing the capability to perform more maintenance work by yourselves.
Excellent training quality

Each trainee receives a training manual covering the relevant subjects of the training course. This manual consists of equipment descriptions, schematics and operation & maintenance instructions. The manuals also contain an abundance of reference information for further private studies. Training manuals keep their value over time and are often used as primary reference manuals.
Our courses are aimed at a variety of levels. We have courses for operators who need an in-depth understanding of LM gas turbines. Other are focussing more on hand-on operation or auxiliary systems and control systems. All levels of operators and maintenance engineers will profit from the knowledge and skills acquired. Any of our trainings or courses will contribute to preventing and solving problems with your gas turbine operation.
Customer-specific training courses
VBR also offers training courses specifically tailored to our customer’s requirements and needs. These courses can be conducted at your own facilities or if requested the course can be held at our training centre in Elst or at any other suitable location.
We combine classroom training sessions on-site along with practical instruction close to the machinery. This gives trainees the possibility to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to the machines they work with each day.

VBR also conducts ‘open training courses’ for individual subscription which will be delivered either at our main office in the Netherlands or at any other agreed location throughout the world.
